Absolutely nothing compares to those first seconds when you and your newborn baby lock eyes! Documentary style photography is documenting those moments, not interfering at all! You won't even know I'm there! I use natural light, whether by candles, Christmas lights, hospital lights, or overhead lights. I've seen 'em all! I am just a fly on the wall during births, and I LOVE it! It's an amazing process to photograph the becoming of a family! I focus on capturing the emotions and beauty of birth. I can capture ALL of it, or the PG version. I am comfortable either way because this is about how YOU want to remember YOUR birth! I make sure to photograph the support of your loved ones, and the environment you're in. It's all wonderful and exciting chaos to you now… but those details are so sweet to have captured when it's all done and you're holding your sweet baby in your arms, earthside.  I'm also there so your birth partner, and family members won’t be having to juggle the camera, and so that they too can be in the photographs themselves. Say goodbye to horrible iphone shots of your priceless moments! I'll be there to create art out of these moments for you. And don't you worry about me missing the birth! I sleep in my jeans, packed and ready to make it to a birth at 3am from the time you're 37weeks, till I get the call! I stay with you, for about an hour after birth, making sure to get your baby being weighed, Daddy holding baby for the first time, siblings meeting baby, and getting footprints done! You will forever have quality images of your new fresh bundle from day one! Day one only happens once. Don't let it go undocumented!
